Jordan Lamb, Student Writer
My name is Jordan Lamb and I’m currently a senior at Greater Nanticoke Area High School. I’ve lived in Nanticoke my entire life so far, and I’ve been attending GNA since Pre-K. I’m a member of National Honors Society and World Language Honors Society, and I have been participating in PJAS since 8th grade. I’m a part of the Upward Bound program along with Questbridge College Prep Scholars. I attend Restored Church and volunteer through their community food distribution.Â
Outside of school, I love reading, writing, music, and art. I’m a songwriter and artist as hobbies and I love spending time creating and expressing myself through various art mediums. I’m also a major bookworm and I adore reading, writing, and doing research.Â
While looking forward to college, I’m definitely applying through the Questbridge College Match program. I plan to major in Secondary Education with a minor in English, and I plan to pursue a teaching career beyond college. I have a heart for community, particularly youth within a community, and I’d like to help others to be passionate about learning and provide support to them in that way.
