Alycia Knorr, Student Writer
My name is Alycia Knorr, and I am a senior at Greater Nanticoke Area Senior High School. I have attended the GNA school district my whole life as I have lived in Nanticoke from a very young age. I played softball when I was younger for the Wilkes-Barre Girls Softball League. I also used to play basketball for the Newport Twp Biddy Basketball team and the girl’s junior high basketball team here at GNA. I am also currently a member of the National Honor Society.Â
When I am not at school, I love to go camping with my family and hang out with friends. I love going on adventures when I have the chance. 7 Tubs and The Millie have become the best places around here to go swimming for me. I will never pass up on an opportunity to go fishing or do anything outside in nature.Â
After High School, I hopefully plan to attend Susquehanna University in Selinsgrove, Pennsylvania. I will double major in sports media and photography. While at Susquehanna, I plan on traveling abroad for either a whole semester or two weeks. I’m hoping to go to Greece or England if given the chance. And if all goes well, I’ll hopefully get a job taking photographs of amazing athletes all around the country.Â
