Kayla Eckrote, Student Writer
My name is Kayla Eckrote, and I am a junior here at GNA. I’ve always been a student here, for I have lived in Mocanaqua and Nanticoke my whole life. I have been a member of the girls varsity soccer team and have participated in PJAS for three years now, along with being a member of the National Honors Society, the French and Spanish Honors Society, and the St. Faustina Youth Ministry. I also took part in Science Olympiad last year, and I plan to do so again this year.
In my spare time, I enjoy reading and spending time with my family. I have also traveled, having been to countries such as Poland and Canada. In the future, I would like to take another trip to Poland, so I can visit the members of my family that reside there.
Though I am unsure of which college I would like to attend, I have hopes of entering the medical field and becoming a radiologist. In addition to this, I would like to inspire and assist others by being an active member of my community and taking part in events for charity.
