Nicholas Neipert, Student Writer
My name is Nicholas Neipert, and I am in my 11th year of schooling, my 7th here at GNA. Prior to my GNA days, I attended 10+ different schools, all across the country. I like to say that I am predominantly of Charlotte citizenship, however, I have spent an equal amount of time in Statesville (NC), Lehighton (PA), and Troutman (NC). I have spent a majority of my life playing Football, however, due to unforeseen circumstances, have had to retire from playing Football as of this year. Today, I spend my time working, and writing/performing music.
For work, I bounce between several jobs. I am a full-time editor, working for several large influencers across popular social media platforms “YouTube” and “TikTok.” I also work in GFX as a freelance designer, specializing in sports graphics and animation. On top of all of that, I find some time to take place as a part-time floor monitor at Weis Markets in Nanticoke. In summary, I keep myself busy.
My life plan hasn’t changed much since I was 10. It has always been a goal of mine to attend LCCC for two years, to then move out to New Britain, Connecticut, to attend CCSU (Central Connecticut State University) to earn my Bachelors in Sports Journalism. While I can’t confidently say that I know what’s next after that, my dream is to move about 10 minutes west to Bristol, so I can work at ESPN HQ as an NFL journalist. Time will tell!
