Deyonna Wood, Student Writer
My name is Deyonna Wood, and I am a junior at Greater Nanticoke Area High School and a writer for The GNA Insider.
I am currently in the Upward Bound program at Wilkes University. I am a member of the Spanish Honor Society, National Honor Society and a member of the GNA marching band as well as the chorus. I have been in the marching band for the past five years, and the chorus for seven years. I am also an active member in the school’s jazz and concert band for the past five years.
After high school I am hoping to go to Muhlenberg College to start my undergraduate degree in Neurosurgery, and after graduating I hope to go to Boulder University in Colorado to continue my studies in Neuroscience.
