Dawson Hughes, Student Writer
My name is Dawson Hughes and I am a senior at Nanticoke Area High School. My favorite things to do in my spare time involve being active, eating good food, playing video games, listening to music, reading, writing, doing photography, learning new things, and spending time with my family and friends. I have an older sister and also a younger brother that I am a sibling to. I am very easy to talk to and I enjoy being kind, funny, caring, and always happy whenever I could be. I don’t have a favorite subject in school because I am naturally curious of everything. I am a letter recipient of the GNA varsity football team and I’ve played for 4 consecutive years. Additionally, I am a letter recipient of the GNA Track and Field team in which I throw shotput and discus. My extracurricular activities and clubs that I partake in include National Honor Society where I volunteer for many activities and Student Council where I am the historian and we take charge of running much of our school events. I am not completely sure of what my future holds for me right now, but I know I will figure it out soon. This is my first year writing for The GNA Insider, and also will be my last.
