Sunni Popovich, Student Writer
My name is Sunni- Rae Popovich, and I’m a Senior here at GNA. I’ve always been a part of the GNA family. I have lived in Nanticoke my whole life. I’m a four-year member, and Cheer Captain of the Nanticoke Varsity Cheer Team. I love always being a part of the school activities, and will definitely miss it when I leave.
In my spare time, I enjoy spending time with family and friends, cheerleading, cooking, and dancing around the house. I also have a part-time job at Stookey’s BBQ that I started about a year ago; with school, cheer, and working, you can say I keep myself very busy. I’m very excited about my senior year, but the thing I’m looking forward to the most is homecoming week – it’s always so much fun.
After Graduation, I plan on pursuing a career in Pediatrics. I wasn’t really sure which college I wanted to attend but recently I’ve decided I wanted to go somewhere warm. I’m going to apply to a few different colleges to find the one best for me. I feel like this would be a very good fit for me because I work well with kids. I try to be a good role model for everyone around me, especially my nieces and nephews.
