Madison Cramer, Student Writer
My name is Madison Cramer, and this is my junior year. I was born and raised here in Nanticoke, PA. I am the youngest of three siblings who live in Catawissa, PA and often visit them in the summer. Most of my life has been family-oriented and we are all quite close. I joined the the GNA track team for the first time during my sophomore year and made some friends I never expected to get to know.
This will be my fourth year entering into the Bloomsburg Fair for my sketches and paintings. I have won six honorable mentions and two third places at the fair, and plan on entering this year as well. Art has always been one of my hobbies; however, it is not my only one. I enjoy reading and writing in my free time along with kickboxing and running.
The outdoors have always had a prominent role in my life. Hiking, fishing, hunting, and just being outside have always brought me joy. I went salmon fishing in Pulaski, NY several times and have been taken down by a giant fish! I like going where there is no cell service and typically staying away from social media, and being outside is the best way to do that.
I plan on going to Kutztown University after high school to become an English or art teacher. I want to inspire the upcoming generations and hopefully becoming a teacher will do just that.
