Emily Eisenhauer, Student Writer
My name is Emily R. Eisenhauer, I am a senior here at Nanticoke. I have resided within the district for the whole of my life and with all of my time here if I could give the underclassmen any form of advice for their upcoming year(s) it would be to make the most of it. Take the harder classes, participate in clubs/extracurriculars, and make the most of your time here. I’ve come to acknowledge that you’re only a high schooler once, so do the unthinkable – it helps keep life moving and keeps you on your toes. Remember every day is a new day!
Veering off the topic of school, on my off-days I like to partake in activities such as attending local events year-round, and enjoying nature (fishing, hunting, hiking, biking etc.). During the colder months you can 9 out of 10 times find me out at Montage Mountain, either working or boarding and skiing; It is where I find peace and I’d recommend everyone try it at least once in their lifetime. I work practically all year round to make a living. I like to know where I stand and like to stay one step ahead. I also have a passion for music on the side. My taste varies from The Highwaymen and John Denver to Limp Bizkit and Korn, even Red Hot Chili Peppers and Matchbox Twenty.
My plan for the future is to attend a 4-year college, The University of Wyoming, and study cardiovascular anesthesiology. After, I plan to reside in the west in my after graduate years and start my livelihood in either Wyoming or Washington State.
