What is your favorite part of playing sports at GNA? 

The overwhelming amount of support from my friends, family, and the rest of the community. Knowing that everyone in the community is behind me and my teammates whenever we step on the field or court is a great feeling.

Who has been the most influential to your success and why?

My parents have always been very influential in my success. My dad has coached me in my different sports my whole life, and my mom has always been my #1 supporter on the sidelines.

Why do you think athletics is an important part of high school?

I think it’s important because it gives you a chance to try something new. It also gives you an opportunity to make great friendships that will last a lifetime.

At what age did you start playing sports?

I started playing soccer, basketball, and baseball at about 5 years old, playing Newport biddy basketball and little league. I joined the football team my junior year.

What sports do you play?

I play soccer, football, basketball, and baseball.

What is your favorite sport?

My favorite sport is either basketball or baseball. Both of these sports have always been big in my life.

Do you plan on playing sports in college?

Playing sports in college would be an amazing opportunity, but my main focus in college is education.

Where do you see yourself in 5 years?

I hope that in 5 years I have graduated from Penn State University and am then studying at a law school. It has always been a dream of mine to become a lawyer.

What motivates you to play this sport?

I have always been motivated by my friends and family. I have always had an amazing group of supporters that always pick me up when I am down.

What is one word that describes you as an athlete?

One word that describes me as an athlete is competitive. I am always doing everything I can to win, and am always ready to do whatever it takes.

What is a mental tool you use under pressure?

When I am nervous, I try to remember that it’s just a game. Whether you win or lose, life will go on, so just remember to have fun.

What’s your advice to anyone who wants to play this sport?

My advice is to try a bunch of different sports. As a four-sport athlete, I know from experience that you will make so many great memories with your teammates on and off the field.
