What are your hobbies outside of school?

 I love to sing! I am a member of the folk group at my church.

What is something people don’t know about you? 

I attended an Ozzy Osbourne Concert, but seeing Barbra Streisand perform is on my bucket list.

Where is your favorite place to eat? 

Grico’s on Wyoming Avenue in Exeter.

What inspired you to become a teacher?

I was inspired to become a teacher as soon as I walked into my 8th grade French classroom. I fell in love with the French language and was impressed by my teacher’s passion and her compassion for her students.

What do you like most about teaching?

I like making connections with my students as I share my love for the French language.

Do you have any siblings?

I have 2 younger sisters.

What do you like least about teaching?

The paperwork.

What is the most unique place you’ve ever visited?

The Luminous Lagoon in Falmouth, Jamaica. The lagoon is home to millions of microorganisms that emit a flash of light when touched. I went on a night cruise and swam in the lagoon. This phenomenon occurs only in four places worldwide.

What is your biggest piece of advice for students?

Find something positive every day and travel as often as you can.

How long have you been teaching? 

34 years( 1 at Bishop in Hazleton and 33 at GNA.)
