What are your hobbies outside of school?

Music/concerts, reading, sun worship, beaching.  

What is something people don’t know about you?

I taught in Alaska for 4 years.

If you could meet one person, living or dead, who would it be? Why?

Stephen King, author. I would ask him where his ideas come from.

 What is your favorite band – or – who is your favorite singer?

Dave Matthews Band.

What is your favorite song of all time?

#41 by Dave Matthews Band.

Where is your favorite place to eat? 

Marx Brothers Cafe in Anchorage Alaska. Best meal I ever had, and I used to go often for the same thing! 

What is the most unique place you’ve ever visited? Why? 

I went to college in Ireland for a year.

Do you have any pets? If so, what are they?

Yes, a dog named Cody. He’s a corgi/husky and is 12 years old. I also have two cats- one named Winston, and the other named Shadow. Shadow is 8 while Winston is 2.

What is your biggest pet peeve? 

Rude people/ disrespect. 

What inspired you to become a teacher? 

My mom was a teacher. When in high school, I worked with the elementary schools special needs class and loved it.

What do you like most about teaching?

Watching kids grow and progress throughout the school year.

What is your biggest piece of advice for students?

You can think whatever you want to think. You can get in trouble when you say everything you think. 

How long have you been teaching?

15 years.
