What is your favorite part of playing sports at GNA?
My favorite part of playing sports at GNA is the sense of family our teams have. I love the other girls on my team with my whole heart and wouldn’t do this without them.
Who has been the most influential to your success and why?
The most influential person to my success would be my parents. Anytime I’ve had a bad game or practice, they always know the words to say to keep me motivated.
Why do you think athletics is an important part of high school?
I think athletics in high school helps you to grow your confidence and strength not only physically, but mentally, as well. It also helps bring people together and make lifelong friends.
At what age did you start playing sports?
I started playing sports when I was about 5 or 6. I originally was a gymnast and focused more on acrobatics.
What sports do you play?
I play volleyball here at GNA!
What is your favorite sport?
Although I don’t play, I love baseball/softball very much. Of course, volleyball will always have my heart.
Do you plan on playing sports in college?
I don’t think I want to go D1 or anything like that, but I wouldn’t mind walking on to a small school.
Where do you see yourself in 5 years?
I hope to be out of college and getting positions in the workplace. Maybe I’ll even have my own apartment in another state.
