Students went all out this year for the annual pumpkin carving contest.  With his help, Mr. Fig’s students went above and beyond to create masterpieces of many varieties.

The categories ranged from the most creative to the best cultural theme. The following winners are listed below.

Creative Use of Pumpkin Space (Vampire Pumpkin): The vine of the pumpkin was used as a nose.

Funniest (Pumpkin with yarn for hair):

Morgann Clayworth, Avery Hendricks, Emersyn Petrini, Megan LaRue, Elizabeth Hammontree.

Biggest Change (I can’t believe this is still a pumpkin, pumpkin)

Mike Wazowski, Monster’s Inc. Yazmin Brantly & Alexis Shultz, they painted the pumpkin. 

Scariest Pumpkin:

Sabi Bilinovic, Hannah Guydosh, Samera Buchanan, Emily Keener, Clark Meade.

Cultural Theme (Day of the Dead/Dia de los Muertos):

Trentyn Harter, Noah Divers, Joshua Hornlein, Dylin Atherton,  Mathew Rodriguez.
