16 teams remain in the NCAA tournament

The first weekend is in the books and only sixteen teams are left. Thanks to first-round upsets like Liberty and UC Irvine, there is only one perfect bracket left in the world. All teams seeded one, two and three moved on to the sweet sixteen for the first time since 2009. Gonzaga, Duke, North Carolina, and Virginia will face their toughest tasks of the tournament. Gonzaga will have a rematch with Florida State, a team that the Bulldogs lost to last year. Virginia will face the only true underdog left, twelfth-seeded Oregon. North Carolina will face Auburn in what should be a fast-paced game. The Duke Blue Devils will have an ACC rematch as it takes on Virginia Tech on Friday night.

Every two seed will face a three seeded team on Thursday and Friday. Purdue trounced the defending champions and will now face number two Tennessee on Thursday. Following that, Michigan tries to carve their path back to the title game, but the Texas Tech Red Raiders stand in they’re way. Friday evening will feature the big ten champs, the Michigan State Spartans. They will go to Washington D.C and play the third seed LSU Tigers. After the game has concluded, The American regular season champions, the Houston Cougars will go up against Kentucky. With the Wildcat’s star PJ Washington questionable with a foot sprain, this game could go either way.

By the end of the week, we will know what teams will compete in the final four. Even with a busted bracket, they are games you can not miss. There is still a chance to win some money with the second chance bracket featuring the sweet sixteen. http://fantasy.espn.com/second-chance-bracket/2019/en/entry
