Super Bowl LIII preview

The New England Patriots will play the Los Angles Rams in the Super Bowl. Although the controversy surrounding this game is as big as it has ever been, they will meet in Atlanta to determine who will win Super Bowl 53. Both conference championship games went to overtime for the first time in history.

The Patriots stopped Patrick Mahomes’ second half comeback with a Tom Brady game winning drive in overtime. He passed for 340 yards and threw for a touchdown to put New England in the super bowl for the third straight year. Brady will be looking for his record breaking sixth super bowl ring.

A missed call helped the Rams reach the super bowl for the first time since 2002. Be that as it may, the Rams defeated the Saints in overtime. Jared Goff threw for 297 yards and kicker Greg Zuerlein kicked the game winning 57 yard field goal to beat New Orleans 26-23. The Saints were bounced from the playoffs in heartbreaking fashion for the second straight year.

The Rams and the Patriots played in the super bowl in 2002. Tom Brady led the patriots to beat the St. Louis Rams. Can the Rams halt the greatness which is Tom Brady, or will the Patriots continue their dominance over the AFC and the NFL? The super bowl will take place on February third in Atlanta.
