Poem of the week: ‘Good god you’re a gift’

‘Good god you’re a gift’

by: Shilow

Good god you’re a gift

Good god you’re a gift,

a wild flower in the rain,

a wild child with stains,

sometimes imperfect,

sometimes unclean.

but so shiny underneath,

you are glistening,

are you listening?

you are a gift,

good god you’re a gift…
