K.M.’s final days
Since 1930, K.M. Smith has been the go to school for early childhood education. As the final days are winding down at K.M., the teachers and students are excited – and sad. Since K.M. Smith has been around for so long, most of the teachers who grew up in Nanticoke/Newport ended up teaching here, went to school at K.M. Smith.
To celebrate the ending of this school and the opening of a new school, the teachers at K.M. Smith held a bash! The bash included a bounce house, an obstacle course, slushies, pizza, raffles and a lot of games.
The GNA Insider sat down with a few teachers to ask them how they felt about leaving the school they’ve been at for 10+ years.
