Trojan baseball
The last two years have been a struggle for the Nanticoke baseball team, and this year it looks like another challenge is awaiting the Trojans.
With only three seniors returning, two of which were starters last season, Coach Yudichak expects many of the underclassmen to step up and help the Trojans have a successful year.
Those players expected to help this year are freshman Derek Cease, Luke Myers, and Jake Krupinski.
Returning Sophomores include Colby Butczynski and Devland Heffron.
Dylan Szychowski, Trah Krupinski, Austin Norton, and Tyler Pokrinchak are the returning juniors.
The seniors expected to lead the Trojans this year are Kris Rynkiewicz, Derek Kurkoski, and Evan Stecco.
The GNA Insider sat down with head baseball coach Joe Yudichak to ask a couple questions:
1) What are your expectations for the upcoming season?
We are young but solid baseball team. We expect to be very competitive and be playing our best by the end of the season.
