This series is a ‘what if’ scenario where Rosepetal and Foxleap had become mates sooner. The arc where this takes place in Fading Echoes, where their first interaction is noticed. To make this random, I used a number generator to determine the number of kits, a wheel with color palettes representing their family members, a personality wheel, a gender wheel, and a name generator. Additionally, I utilized Picrew to create the cats.
Rosepetal and Foxleap officially become mates in Night Whispers. Rosepetal is expecting his kits before Dovewing, Jayfeather, Squirrelflight, and Foxleap himself leave for a mission to the Tribe. At the Tribe, Foxleap constantly thinks about his kits and when he’d be able to see them; meanwhile, Rosepetal hopes Foxleap will return home safely. When he does return, he stays with Rosepetal until she gives birth to his two kits: Pebblekit and Snowkit. Ferncloud protects Rosepetal, Brightheart, and their kits, as well as Sorreltail’s kits, and dies defending them. When the Great Battle is over, Rosepetal checks on Foxleap to see that he’s bleeding out and insists on staying by his side, but Jayfeather tells her to go back to the nursery for her kits. She later hears Jayfeather yowling that he wasn’t supposed to die, and finds out that Foxleap died from his fatal wounds. She grieves for her mate, but doesn’t let that stop her from spending time with their kits.
Pebblekit is a gray and white she-cat with yellow eyes. Pebblekit would always play roughly with the other kits, and Rosepetal would have to tell her that she had to play nicely with them, but Pebblekit would never listen. Rosepetal became worried about Pebblekit’s aggression and thought that Pebblekit was jealous of the other kits for having a father, especially Brightheart’s kits, Amberkit, Snowkit, and Dewkit, but not so much of Sorreltail’s kits, Seedkit and Lilykit, because they only had their father, Brackenfur. When she reaches six moons, Pebblepaw is apprenticed to Berrynose.

Pebblepaw liked training with Berrynose because he always let her train realistically, which meant that she was allowed to unsheathe her claws in training and pretend Berrynose was an opposing Clan warrior. Pebblepaw would rarely come back with scratches; however, Berrynose did. Rosepetal saw this too much and asked Pebblepaw what she was doing in training. Pebblepaw told her that she was training to be a warrior and walked away. Pebblepaw continued her aggressive training even when her mother and brother asked her not to. Pebblepaw got into a fight with a fox and, with the help of her training, managed to kill it. She dragged it back to camp with her head held high, determined to show Berrynose and everyone else what she was capable of. Rosepetal was heartbroken when she saw the fox, reminding her of when Foxleap died. Bramblestar is too stunned to speak, but gives Pebblepaw her warrior name, Pebbleclaw, for protecting the Clan.
During the Great Storm, Lilypaw and Seedpaw wish to become warriors just like Pebbleclaw did a few moons ago. Pebbleclaw tells them that if they retrieve the Stick of the Fallen, Bramblestar will be so proud that he’ll make them both warriors. Pebbleclaw knew they weren’t ready to be warriors, so she was sending them to their demise. When Bramblestar came back with the body of Seedpaw but a very much alive Lilypaw, Pebbleclaw ventured into the tunnels to hide from the apprentice, whom she figured would blame her for Seedpaw’s death. Bramblestar found her and confronted her about Seedpaw, to which Pebbleclaw said she told them to go prove themselves as warriors because they were jealous of her. She gets ready to fight her leader, but Bramblestar pads away with a flick of his tail. She participates in the battle with the badgers, killing as many as she can, and feels no sympathy when Dustpelt is killed.

Pebbleclaw becomes fascinated by the Kin when they arrive at the lake and wishes to join them. As she’s leaving camp, Rosepetal stops her and tells her to come with her so they can talk. Pebbleclaw rolls her eyes, but follows anyway, hoping the meeting will be over quickly. Rosepetal leads her to the far side of the clearing, where her brother is waiting for them. Rosepetal tells them the story of BloodClan, which she had heard as a kit when Ferncloud used to tell their father and his sister stories. Pebbleclaw finds this group interesting as well, and Rosepetal could see it clearly on her face. Rosepetal dismisses them by telling them to choose wisely, and Pebbleclaw walks out of the entrance and finds Darktail and his Kin. Seeing some battle scars of hard work, Darktail allows her to join.
Pebbleclaw is ruthless during the Kin’s reign, but it doesn’t last for long. When Darktail drowns, Pebbleclaw runs to Twolegplace to start a new BloodClan. She finds a yellow collar, remembering that BloodClan members kept the teeth of their enemies on their collars. She invites cats to join her, and when they didn’t want to, she killed them and put their teeth on her collar. She tells her members her plan to destroy the Clans at the lake, starting with ThunderClan. Some follow her in fear of disobeying her and being killed like the other cats, while others follow to destroy the Clans that ruined their lives.
Pebbleclaw meets her brother at the border to ThunderClan. He runs up to her and tells her how much he’s missed her. She tells him that she’s not coming back and to send a warning to ThunderClan that BloodClan is coming. He backs away from her, seeing all the other cats in toothed collars around her. She stalks up to him and unsheathes her claws, raking him across the eye, and tells him to run away back to ThunderClan. He gets up and runs as fast as he can back to camp. Pebbleclaw orders her cats to follow him, and they obey. She and her cats chase him all the way into ThunderClan, and she immediately gives the signal to attack. She goes for Rosepetal first, but Rosepetal doesn’t fight back. Rosepetal tells her that she’s sorry Foxleap died and says that she tried to get him to stay with her in the nursery while the others fought, but he was eager to fight in the Great Battle. Pebbleclaw tells her that she never knew her father, and she never wanted to be like him. She’s about to give the killing blow when she hears screams from her cats. She sees most of them running away like cowards, while others stay to fight but lose. She calls for a retreat and follows her cats out of the camp, vowing that one day she’ll be back.
Snowkit is a white tom with blue eyes. He would often get confused when his name was called since there was another Snowkit in the nursery as well. He loved sharing prey with the other kits and his sister. He would get scared when Pebblekit would play too roughly with him and the other kits, squeaking when he wanted her to get off of him. When he reaches six moons old, Snowpaw is apprenticed to Millie.

Snowpaw loved Millie as his mentor because she was always patient with him and never yelled at him when he did something wrong. He was a great hunter and a decent fighter, unlike his sister, who would often come to camp with her mentor, Berrynose, covered in wounds. He would start to pad off to the apprentice den, but Pebblepaw would always stop him. She would tell him that she wanted him to do better in training so that he could be her deputy one day when she becomes the leader. Snowpaw would flinch and nod reluctantly until she would walk away. He was afraid of what she was capable of and would try to avoid her as much as possible, but it never worked until the day she became a warrior before he did, because she had killed a fox on ThunderClan territory.
He finished his warrior assessment a few moons after Pebbleclaw became a warrior and received the name Snowflower. Not long after, the Great Storm came. Snowflower overheard Pebbleclaw talking to Lilypaw and Seedpaw about bringing Bramblestar the Stick of the Fallen so they could be warriors. He urged them in his mind not to go because they could get hurt, but before he could actually tell them, the two she-cats were gone. Like he thought would happen, he’s horrified when Seedpaw’s body is brought into the tunnels ThunderClan was hiding in until the flood was gone. He ran over to grieve for the golden-brown she-cat and was occupied by his mother, Rosepetal. She tells him how any death is upsetting and that she had felt what he was feeling when his father, Foxleap, had died. Snowflower never saw Pebbleclaw at the vigil.
Snowflower gets news of the Kin and stays by his mother while they reign. She tells him and his sister about BloodClan and to choose wisely where the two want their loyalties to lie. He decides to fight for ThunderClan, but he never sees Pebbleclaw in ThunderClan after that talk. He finds her during the last battle against the Kin, fighting for Darktail. He watches as she flees when Darktail is drowned by Onestar, and thinks of how much he’ll miss her. He tells Rosepetal about Pebbleclaw, and his mother tells him that Pebbleclaw had made her decision of where her loyalties lie, and she wouldn’t dare come back to ThunderClan after defending the Kin.

After moons of not seeing his sister, Snowflower finds her on the ThunderClan border and runs up to her, telling her how much he missed her. She hisses at him that she’s not running back to ThunderClan, and to consider this a warning to his pitiful Clan. He backs up and sees the amount of kittypets, loners, and rogues behind her, all with collars; some with cat teeth on them, and some with nothing. She steps closer to him, and he smiles, thinking she changed her mind, but instead she slashes him across his face. He yowls in pain, shutting the eye she had slashed, and sees her standing over him with no regret in her gaze. He runs as fast as he can back to ThunderClan, hearing pawsteps following behind him.
When he reaches camp, he screams that they’re being attacked. Rosepetal shrieks when she sees Snowflower’s face and tells him to get to the medicine cat den immediately. He runs in with Jayfeather, Leafpool, and Alderheart, all staring at him. He explains what happened as he hears the fight raging in the clearing of his sister and her group of cats. Leafpool stays behind with Snowflower while Jayfeather goes out to heal injuries, and Alderheart guards the medicine den. Leafpool treats Snowflower’s wound, and he could feel her anxiously padding around even after the battle was over. He asks her what’s wrong, and she tells him that she doesn’t think he’ll ever be able to see out of his eye again. Rosepetal comes in to visit him, and Leafpool tells her the news as well. After much consideration, Snowflower decides to become a medicine cat so he will be safe from his sister if she ever comes back.
