My name is Bethany Saltz, and I’m a junior here at GNA. This is my second year in Journalism. I’m involved in softball, tennis, and chorus. I’m also a member of the Adventure Club and National Honor Society. I have attended GNA my whole life, and I’ll continue until I graduate. I usually read after class is over or talk to my friends if we’re allowed. I’m a fan of Maroon 5 and AJR; my favorite songs are Lucky Strike, Ice Cream, Yes, I’m A Mess, and Burn the House Down. I love to read, as I mentioned, and my favorite book series is “Warriors” by Erin Hunter. My favorite characters are Cinderheart, Squirrelstar, and Ivypool. I got back into “Sonic the Hedgehog” after the third movie came out, and I have some games such as Sonic Frontiers, Sonic Forces, Sonic X Shadow Generations, and Team Sonic Racing. My favorite characters are Shadow, Sonic, and Mephiles the Dark. I don’t have any pets, but my grandmother has a Shetland Sheepdog named Ripper whom I claim to be my son. I work hard in ELA because I want to be an author when I graduate. I’m searching for colleges online because I like working on my own. After I graduate from college, I’m going to stay in Pennsylvania so that I can be close to home. I want to get a few cats when I have enough money because I love cats.

Hello! I’m Annaleia Rose, but a lot of people call me Annie. I’m a junior writer for The GNA Insider, and this is my second year as a writer! I have attended GNA for almost my entire life, except for pre-school, where I attended Head Start. I’m the class secretary and a member of the National Honor Society and National Language Honor Society, along with being a part of Junior Leadership Northeast.  When I’m not at school, I’m most likely listening to music. My favorite artists are Twice, Ateez, Laufey, IU, Taylor Swift, Sabrina Carpenter, Wu Tang Clan, and N.W.A. I have severe scoliosis and POTs (it’s a heart condition!), so I can’t do many physical activities like any sports, but I love to read, craft, bake, collect things, and debate with people online. I love animals and anything cute, and I have four pets of my own.  My plans for the future are to attend California State University Monterey Bay, and get my degree in marine biology. After that, I’m aiming for UC Berkeley for my degree in environmental law. I plan on working with and researching wild orca whales, and also defending the environment from big company polluters.
