If you’re anything like me, you know that working on slideshow projects can be exhausting, or you might just feel unmotivated to tackle them altogether. I’ve found a way to stay motivated while working on my slideshow projects, and I believe it can help you too!
Slideshow Themes/Decoration
Instead of downloading a premade theme to make your slideshow “prettier,” why don’t you make your own? If you have a favorite character from a game, show, or even book, why not decorate it with said character as your theme? I know it sounds like way more work, but if you make it into a character you love, it might make it fun! I always make all of my slideshows based on a character(s), which helps me stay focused and enjoy the project more. Here are some projects from the past I’ve got a 90-100 on, there will be 3 slides shown from each project (please excuse any grammar or spelling mistakes on these slides):
As you can see, you can have fun with your slideshows and get them in on time! This also helps if you’re very hyperfixated on a show, character, etc.; hyperfixations can be overwhelming for some, so I think this can really help for some people. One thing you need to confirm is that your teacher didn’t mention anything about decorating it. For example, last year I had a project in ELA, but the rules/directions were very straightforward; we couldn’t include extra pictures that didn’t relate to the project, or it would result in points being deducted. Instead of using characters, I used shapes. You can use vibrant colors and shapes, and make the titles and text bubbles unique! (Please excuse any grammar or spelling mistakes on these slides)
