Trojanettes finesse their way past the Mountaineers of Dallas
Wednesday night was a non-conference game for our varsity Trojanettes, but that wouldn’t stop them from leaving their hearts on the court and finessing their way right past the Mountaineers.
Lisa Radziak and the starting squad for Nanticoke was predicted to come out on top of Dallas early and keep the lead throughout the entire game. They did just that, with a finishing score of 56-41.
The Mountaineers were successful in bringing the game back to a small deficit, but after just the 3rd quarter the game was back up to 39-29, providing a tough situation for Dallas to comeback from.
Both teams played their hearts out, but the Trojanettes had the upper hand during the entire match up, leading to their expected win.
Key players included Amiah Lukowski with 17 points, Lisa Radziak with 16, and Katie Butczynski added 12.
Your varsity Trojanettes will be playing next on February 2, 2018 (7:15 pm tip) at Lake-Lehman high school.
