Hannah Fink, Student Writer
My name is Hannah Fink, and I’m a senior at GNA. I fearlessly fill the role of Student Council President and I currently work at a grocery store. I have six slightly different cameras that I use to do amateur photography. I often spend my time as a Swiftie, constantly making friendship bracelets. I even went to Paris and Canada to attend two of her concerts.
In my free time, I like to read, bake, and hang out with friends. My all-time favorite song is “New Year’s Day” by Taylor Swift. I like to consider myself a Taylor Swift connoisseur, constantly collecting her merch items and listening to her music 24/7. My guilty pleasure is eating peanut butter smidgens and chocolate wave cake.
At this time, my path for the future is uncertain. While I intend to go to college, I have yet to decide on the field that interests me the most. I hope to enter a program that I’m passionate about. I hope that my choice will be fulfilling and lucrative. It would be nice to own a beach house one day.

Chriselda Sedorchuk, Student Writer
My name is Chriselda Sedorchuk, and I am currently a senior at GNA. I’ve been attending GNA my whole life. This is my first year in the journalism program. I currently work in an ice cream shop. I’ve participated in chorus throughout elementary and middle school, and I also played softball in middle school. I spend a lot of time taking photos to capture and remember the memories I make.
In my free time, I like to read, watch movies, and play video games when I get the chance. My favorite movie series is The Hunger Games. My favorite music artists are Taylor Swift, Harry Styles, and Olivia Rodrigo. I am also a Marvel and DC fan. I would love to travel the world one day and photograph all the beautiful scenery. I would love to visit France or Italy.
At this time, I am stuck on two very different future jobs. I would like to go into the trades for welding, but my other choice would be to go to college to get a bachelor’s degree in criminal justice so I can become a detective. I hope I get the chance to live close to a beach one day.

Taylor Kreitzer, Student Writer
My name is Taylor Kreitzer, and I’m a Senior at GNA High School. I’ve lived in Nanticoke my whole life since head-start. I moved schools at the end of second grade and went to Hanover for two and a half years. I then came back to Nanticoke in fourth grade and have been here ever since. This is my third year in the journalism program, and I am honored to do this elective for my senior year!
Some of my hobbies include drawing, painting, boxing, and hanging out with my friends. Not many people know that I boxed, and I’m very passionate about it. I haven’t always boxed; I started with cheer for a while and continued up until I was twelve. I did boxing for two years, and instead of boxing, I now work harder toward my academics.
After high school, I plan to go to LCCC for my first two years. Then Penn-state my other two, to get my bachelor’s degree, to study sociology and criminology. Even though I’m not set in stone for my future career, I just work towards my goal. This is the biggest goal I have set for myself, and I can’t wait to hopefully achieve it!

Hunter Vitkauskas, Student Writer
My name is Hunter Vitkauskas, and I am a Senior here at Greater Nanticoke Area. This is my third year in Journalism. I am an active member of Key Club and Future Business Leaders of America, and I serve as the President of GNA’s Student Council.
Some of my interests include analyzing television and films, as well as writing. I see myself in 10 years, hopefully rich or working as a practicing attorney. I also love to travel, my bucket list countries include Iceland and France. My favorite genre of writing is specifically satirical media.
After I graduate, I plan on going to college to major in Political Science. Eventually, I want to go to law school and become a practicing attorney, hopefully representing people who don’t have a voice.

My name is Coraliz Garcia, and I’m a senior here at Greater Nanticoke Area High School. This is my third year in journalism. I’ve always been the type of person who keeps themselves busy, whether they still have stuff going on that day or even have a day off.
Some extracurricular activities that I am involved in are clubs such as Key Club, Art Club, Drama Club, Chorus, Student Council, and I am the secretary of the Future Business Leaders of America Club. I’m also in Upward Bound and had one of the best summers I could ever have. I’ve taken a photography, music theory, and creative writing class in Upward Bound. Some of my hobbies are playing online games, drawing, and writing. I’ve been working in the restaurant industry for a year and a half.
I’m still not sure what I will choose for a career, but I believe I will figure it out in time. I plan to attend community college after I graduate, so I can earn my Associate’s Degree before pursuing advanced degrees. You grow from experience and learn from your mistakes.
