GNA CAMPUS – Greater Nanticoke Area has a very profound music program full of many talented kids. Last year, our marching Trojans attended a cavalcade at North Pocono High School. Now, in the fall of Greater Nanticoke Area’s 2023-2024 school year, they will participate in two more.
On Wednesday, September 27th, the GNA marching band got to experience their first cavalcade of the year, which was broadcast to WNEP. The GNA Marching Trojans were the second to perform out of eight bands, doing their halftime show “A Trip Down Broadway.”
The night was very eventful, with an energetic crowd that filled the stands with dancing throughout the evening.
The school hosting, Western Wayne, was generous enough to allow every student from each band to receive free food and a drink.
The cavalcade eventually ended around 9:30, with the students from each school piling back into their buses and heading home.
The GNA marching band will attend another cavalcade on October 11th at Scranton High School. Show up to support the Nanticoke marching Trojans.
