FAFSA update: FAFSA completion event, November 30th 2:15 p.m.
There will be another FAFSA completion night on November 30th, at 2:15p.m.
What to bring to a FAFSA Completion Event:
- Student’s Social Security Number
- Students’s 2016 Federal Income Tax Return (if applicable)
- Student’s 2016 W-2 forms (if applicable)
- Student’s 2016 untaxed income information (if applicable)
- Student’s current bank statements (if applicable)
- Parents’ 2016 Federal Income Tax Return
- Parents’ 2016 W-2 forms
- Parents’ 2016 untaxed income information
- Parents’ current bank statement(s)
- Parents’ current business & investment information (if applicable)
*If possible, please create and FSA ID for student & parent before completion event.
**A note on who qualifies as “parent” for FAFSA purposes: dependent students must include the tax and income information of the biological parent with whom they live with more than 50% of the time. Students may qualify as an independent if they are an orphan, have lived in foster care, are in court-ordered custody of someone other than a parent or stepparent, are an active duty member of the armed forces, and other specific circumstances.
