Life Skills hosts trick or treat event
GNA CAMPUS – The Greater Nanticoke Area School District’s life skills class kicked off the Halloween weekend with a fun and spooky trick or treat event in the high school gym.
The life skills students from the high school, middle school, and elementary center dressed up in costume. They marched down to the gym and a surprise awaited them…
Several tables run by different clubs in the high school were elaborately decorated and each stand had members of the clubs waiting with handfuls of candies and treats. All of the costumed students got to walk by, interact with each other, and trick-or-treat.
Students who volunteered for this project were a part of the National Honor Society, athletic teams, the homecoming court as well as a few others. This was a great opportunity for both parties involved. Not only did the life skills classes get to start their Halloween celebrations early, but students hosting each table were also able to participate in an event that they won’t soon forget.
