GNA CAMPUS – “Trojan Pride Never Dies!” He chants and the familiar phrase flows through the halls of the Greater Nanticoke Area High School.

A student who proved to be well spirited is senior Daniel Shipierski. He is known for his contagious attitude, and he brings his excitement to all school sports events. When GNA held in-person classes, you could spot Dan and his fellow football players wearing their jersey in the halls, each Friday.

What activities, clubs, or sports are you involved in at GNA?

Football and Track.

What are your hobbies outside of school?

Playing my Xbox, painting, and cooking.

Who’s your favorite teacher?

Mr. Figlerski.

Where is your favorite place to be on the GNA campus?

The gym.

What is your most memorable moment from your time at GNA?

Beating the Hanover Hawkeyes in football and scoring a 2 point conversion during a game.

What are your plans after high school?

Going to college.

What is your dream job?

Becoming a sports coach.

If you could have one superpower, what would it be and why?

Super strength, to be able to lift heavy objects.

What is a silly fact that no one knows about you? 

I love to binge-watch the show “Hell’s Kitchen.”
