NANTICOKE- September’s students of the month here at GNA are Jordan Spencer, Katie Ward, Lillian Galazin and Devland Heffron. The GNA Insider had the honor of catching up with Devland Heffron to ask some hard-hitting personal questions.

The interview:

• What’s your favorite class?
  • Law studies, because it relates to interesting situations the have or are occurring in society.
• Who’s your favorite teacher?
  • Ms. Warman. She has helped me since my freshman year and helped me with various school-related activities.
• What’s your favorite song?
  • “Right above it” or “Uproar” by Lil Wayne
• What’s your favorite movie?
  • Interstellar or Step Brothers
• What’s your favorite lunch that the school serves?
  • Buffalo chicken fries. I don’t usually get a lunch, but if I did, it would be the fries or chicken patties.
• What’s your favorite holiday?
  • Christmas, mainly because I try to annoy my parents by getting the biggest tree possible.
• What’s your favorite color?
  • Green, Eagle green/ Irish green . . . it’s always going to be green.
• Angelo’s of Gerry’s?
  • Gerry’s, no question. The sauce hits differently
• Did you expect to be a student of the month?
  • No, I never thought I’d get Mr. Manley’s vote considering the Cowboy’s fan that he is.
