Our nation’s teachers, past and present, have a major impact on today’s society. They provided the children of yesterday with the knowledge and tools to be successful people today.

In honor of National Teacher Appreciation Week, May 6th-10th, and National Teacher Appreciation Day, May 7th, students should reflect on how grateful they are for the teachers who serve as an educational and an emotional support system for them. Any teacher will greatly appreciate this gesture and may be reminded of why they wanted to pursue a teaching career in the first place.
