Ice runs through his veins

Ice hockey was not invented, nor did it start on a certain day of a particular year. It originated around 1800, in Windsor, where the boys of Canada’s first college team adapted the exciting field game of hurley to the ice of their favorite skating ponds and originated a new winter game called ice hurley. Over the years it developed the name ice hockey and started getting more and more popular. Then, it eventually became a professional sport and is now also an Olympic sport.

Greater Nanticoke Area High School has an ice hockey star named Trevor Kruczek. It all started when Trevor began ice skating at the age of three. Then Trevor’s mom started taking him to see his older cousin play ice hockey, and that’s when he knew that was going to be his passion. After that Trevor joined a travel team at five years old. The years passed and now Trevor is an accomplished hockey player. He got a huge opportunity to play for the nations #1 ranked travel ice hockey team. In the future Trevor plans on going to a D1 college for hockey and eventually playing for the NHL.
