How often do you think outside of the box? How much of your time do you spend closing your eyes and imagining what the future has in store for the world? The questions below will help you become a more creative thinker.

Fellow journalism member Brianna Stritzinger, was the first to attempt to not only answer these questions, but to also open the mind of the person that reads this article. Answer them as you read, maybe you will be called upon to answer some more of these.

If you could relive one day of your life, what would it be? Why?

“I would relive the day I met my boyfriend because it was one of the happiest days of my life.”

If you could buy one thing what would it be? Would you keep it or give it away?

“If I could buy one thing it would be a house. A huge house so that I can make food and share it with friends and family. So, I suppose I would keep it.”

If you were a color in a crayon box, what color would you be?

“A half and half crayon of mint and neon pink with glitter.”

If animals could talk, which animal would you think would be the rudest?

“I believe lions because they are the king of the jungle.”

What are two things that you still have on your bucket list?

“To learn how to ice skate and to have a Beauty and the Beast themed wedding.”

If you created a television show and were the main character, what would it be called and what would it be about?

“I would make a show on journalism, first period. It would be called ‘Behind the scenes: Journalism edition.”

If you could cast a spell on anyone or anything, what would it be?

“If I was allowed more than one person, I’d make everyone that feels insecure feel beautiful, because no one deserves to feel ugly. I would also put a spell on everyone with cancer. To get rid of the cancer permanently.”

Do you have any phobias? What are they?

“Yes, handrails and of dying.”

What was the weirdest thing that you have seen in someone’s house or place of work?

“The weirdest thing that I have seen in someone’s house was carpeting in the bathroom.”

If you could add one new rule to the school, what would it be?

“I would make a rule that makes school only four days a week.”

Just remember, every answer leads to a new question. Eventually, they will lead to a new idea or a discovery that can change the world. It all starts in your brain.
