Movie reviews: November 2018 part 2

Thanksgiving is a time when people notice the things they are most thankful for. All of the movies listed below are inspiring and have a good life lesson:

 The Blind Side (2009)

2 hr. 9 min.

The Blind Side is a emotional but very inspiration movie. The high school teenager, Michael Oher has been in and out of school for quite some time. His passion is playing football, and when he gets accepted into a new family he gets that passion back. He became homeless and was not himself anymore and gave up. A wife and husband seen him one day and decided to take him and become his legal parents. Michael is the very protective type over himself and new family. It was hard to adjust to, but it’s something they all were wiling to go through with.

42: The True Story of an American Legend (2013)

2 hr. 8 min.

The movie 42 is based on a true story about Jackie Robinson and his barrier to getting signed to the Brooklyn Dodgers baseball team because of his color. With the brave acts from the Dodgers team manager and Robinson, get put in the middle of the things and people that are fired up because of Robinson wanting to join the team. When he finally got signed to the team, it was hard dealing with the racism, but he knew his worth and knew it wasn’t anything he should pay any mind to.

Amateur (2018)

1 hr. 36 min.

Amateur is one of my favorite movies of all time. Teenage boy Terron Forte is a gifted and well know basketball player. Out of high school he is recruited to a elite NCAA prep school to play boys basketball. This is very hard for him to adjust too because a lot of the other boys take advantage of him because he is the new comer.
