Hello! My name is Alexandra O’Connor. I am a junior at Greater Nanticoke Area. I live on the Alden mountain, and I have attended GNA since kindergarten. I am part of Student Council, yearbook, and I play on the varsity golf team. I always enjoyed being a part of GNA. Aside from high school, I am a dual enrollment student at LCCC.

Outside of school, I play ice hockey for Back Mountain. I also love painting, music, taking pictures, and hanging out with my friends. I like to look at myself as a very creative and outgoing person; it’s also fun to step out of your comfort zone and try new things.

After high school, it’s my dream to attend Pittsburgh University. Of course, I’m looking into other options but no matter where I end up, I hope to major in Early Childhood Education. After college, I’d love to travel to absolutely beautiful places and hopefully find a good job in teaching.
