My name is Alex Avery, and I’m a junior at GNA. I have lived in Nanticoke and attended GNA all my life. This is my first year in journalism. I’m extremely excited about journalism because I haven’t taken a class like this before.
Some of my hobbies are going outside with friends, swimming, and playing video games. I love the beach; it is my favorite place to be during the summertime. My favorite part of the beach is the ocean and the way the warm sand feels on my feet. I also really enjoy watching movies. My favorite movie is “Catch Me If You Can,” with Tom Hanks and Leonardo DiCaprio.
After high school, I want to become a nurse. I plan to attend LCC. I’ve heard that they have an excellent nursing program. I am most likely going there for 2-3 years then jumping right into the nursing field.
