I like family trees and cat family trees. I like to use my knowledge of Warrior Cats family trees to see which cats are related in some way. Unfortunately, my knowledge of the trees are only cats from ThunderClan, so every mate here is from ThunderClan.
1. Sorrelstripe and Dewnose
Sorrelstripe and Dewnose are one of the two most related mates on this list. Let’s start with Sorrelstripe’s tree: Sorrelstripe is the daughter of Lionblaze and Cinderheart from their first litter along with her siblings Hollytuft and Fernsong. Cinderheart’s parents are Sorreltail and Brackenfur along with her siblings from the first litter, Poppyfrost, Molepaw, and Honeyfern, and then her younger sisters from the second litter, Lilyheart and Seedpaw. Sorreltail’s parents are Whitestorm and Willowpelt along with her brothers Rainwhisker and Sootfur. Brackenfur’s parents are Frostfur and Lionheart along with his siblings Brightheart, Thornclaw, and Cinderpelt. We’ve gone far enough to look at Dewnose’s family tree: Dewnose is the son of Brightheart and Cloudtail from their second litter along with his siblings Snowbush and Ambermoon. He also has an older sister named Whitewing from the first litter. Brightheart’s parents are Frostfur and Lionheart along with her siblings Brackenfur, Thornclaw, and Cinderpelt. Sorrelstripe and Dewnose are related due to Sorrelstripe’s grandfather being Brackenfur, and Brackenfur being Dewnose’s uncle.
2. Ivypool and Fernsong
The rest of the mates on this list are not ranked, because they’re more distantly related than Sorrelstripe and Dewnose. Let’s start with Ivypool’s tree: Ivypool is the daughter of Whitewing and Birchfall along with her sister Dovewing. Whitewing’s parents are Brightheart and Cloudtail from their first litter. Brightheart’s parents are Frostfur and Lionheart along with her siblings Brackenfur, Thornclaw, and Cinderpelt. Cloudtail was a kittypet, so he doesn’t have ThunderClan blood. Now onto Fernsong’s tree: Fernsong is the son of Lionblaze and Cinderheart from their first litter along with his sisters Hollytuft and Sorrelstripe. Cinderheart’s parents are Sorreltail and Brackenfur along with her siblings from the first litter, Poppyfrost, Molepaw, and Honeyfern, and then her younger sisters from the second litter, Lilyheart and Seedpaw. Sorreltail’s parents are Whitestorm and Willowpelt along with her brothers Rainwhisker and Sootfur. Brackenfur’s parents are Frostfur and Lionheart along with his siblings Brightheart, Thornclaw, and Cinderpelt. Ivypool and Fernsong are related by how Whitewing is Brightheart’s daughter, and Brightheart would be related to Fernsong.
3. Cinderheart and Lionblaze
A little warning before I go on; the Erin team has not given Sandstorm an official mother, but I’m using Brindleface as her mother because Vicky stated that Brindleface is Sandstorm’s mother. Let’s start with Cinderheart’s tree: Cinderheart is the daughter of Sorreltail and Brackenfur along with her siblings from the first litter, Poppyfrost, Molepaw, and Honeyfern, and then her younger sisters from the second litter, Lilyheart and Seedpaw. Sorreltail’s parents are Whitestorm and Willowpelt along with her brothers Rainwhisker and Sootfur. Brackenfur’s parents are Frostfur and Lionheart along with his siblings Brightheart, Thornclaw, and Cinderpelt. Frostfur is the daughter of Robinwing and Fuzzypelt along with her sister Brindleface. Now we’ll do Lionblaze’s: Lionblaze is the son of Leafpool and Crowfeather along with his siblings Hollyleaf and Jayfeather. Leafpool’s parents are Firestar and Sandstorm along with her sister Squirrelflight. Sandstorm’s parents are Brindleface and Redtail. Cinderheart and Lionblaze are related by how Cinderheart has Frostfur’s genes and Lionblaze has Brindleface’s genes.
4. Lilyheart and Snowbush
This is mainly the same as Sorrelstripe and Dewnose. We’ll start with Lilyheart: Lilyheart is the daughter of Sorreltail and Brackenfur from the second litter along with her sister Seedpaw, she also has older siblings from the first litter named Cinderheart, Poppyfrost, Molepaw, and Honeyfern. We already know Brackenfur and Sorreltail’s parents pretty well now, so we’ll go on to Snowbush. Snowbush is the son of Brightheart and Cloudtail along with his siblings Dewnose and Ambermoon from the second litter. He also has an older sister named Whitewing from the first litter. We also know Brightheart’s tree really well now, so Lillyheart’s father is Brackenfur, while he is Snowbush’s uncle.
5. Whitewing and Birchfall
Whitewing and Birchfall are very distantly related but related nonetheless. We’ll start with Whitewing’s tree: Whitewing is the daughter of Cloudtail and Brightheart from their first litter. She also has younger siblings from the second litter named Snowbush, Dewnose, and Ambermoon. We know Brightheart’s tree very well, so let’s go to Birchfall’s: Birchfall is the son of Ferncloud and Dustpelt from their second litter along with his sisters Larchkit and Hollykit. Birchfall has two older brothers from the first litter named Spiderleg and Shrewpaw as well as two younger siblings from the third litter named Icecloud and Foxleap. Ferncloud’s parents are Brindleface and Whitestorm along with her siblings Ashfur, Elderkit, and Tulipkit. Brindleface’s parents are Robinwing and Fuzzypelt along with her sister Frostfur. Whitewing and Birchfall are related by how Whitewing has Frostfur as a grandmother and Birchfall has Brindleface as his grandmother.
