GNA CAMPUS – At GNA, every student can create schedules based on their interests and future career plans. Along with the standard courses offered, a whole bunch of electives and AP classes are offered to expand a student’s mind. Here is a brief list of them that will be offered in the 2025-2026 school year. Course Selection
AP English Literature and Composition – Offered to 12th-grade students with a 94 average in their ELA 11 Honors class and scoring proficient or advanced scores on the Keystone English exam. AP Literature is a college-level course, and the AP exam will allow students to earn college credit.
AP Statistics – Offered to 11th and 12th-grade students with a 90 or above in Algebra 2 or Pre-Calculus/Trigonometry. AP Statistics is a college-level course, and the AP exam will allow students to earn college credit.
AP Calculus AB – Offered to 11th and 12th-grade students with a 90 or above in Pre-Calculus/Trigonometry Honors. AP Calculus is a college-level course, and the AP exam will allow students to earn college credit.
AP Biology – Offered to 12th-grade students with a 90 or above in Advanced Biology Honors and Chemistry 1. AP Biology is a college-level course, and the AP exam will allow students to earn college credit.
AP US History – Offered for 11th or 12th-grade students with a 94 or above in Modern American History Honors or World Cultures Honors.

AP US Government and Politics – Offered to 12th-grade students with a 94 or above in World Cultures Honors or a 90 or above in AP US History. AP US Government is a college-level course, and the AP exam will allow students to earn college credit.
French 1 – French 4 Honors – Offered at all grade levels and taken consecutively. French classes enhance language skills and cultural appreciation for French-speaking cultures.
Spanish 1 – Spanish 4 Honors – Offered at all grade levels and taken consecutively. Spanish classes enhance language skills and cultural appreciation for Spanish-speaking cultures.
Career Development/Job Shadowing – Recommended by guidance for 11th-grade students. Career development guides students through the job application process and allows students to shadow jobs.
Advanced Living Skills 1-3 – Offered to students in 10th, 11th, and 12th grade and taken consecutively. Advanced Living teaches everyday tasks like cooking, budgeting, and societal values.
Art 1-4 – Offered to students in 10th, 11th, and 12th grade and taken consecutively. Art teaches students the fundamentals of artistic skills.
Basic Living Skills 1 – Offered to students in 9th and 10th grade. Basic Living gives students the skills needed for family life, including family relations, money management, and nutrition.
Music Appreciation 1-4 – Offered at all grade levels and taken consecutively. Music Appreciation teaches the appreciation and artistry of music and theater.
Computer Science Principles – Offered to 10th, 11th, and 12th-grade students who have taken Algebra 1, Algebra 1 Honors, or Concepts of Algebra 1B.
Computer Science A – This course is offered to 11th and 12th-grade students who have taken Computer Science Principles, Algebra 2, Algebra 2 Honors, or Concepts of Algebra 2.
Journalism 1-3 – Offered to 10th, 11th, and 12th-grade students and are taken consecutively. Journalism students write articles, take pictures, and put together The GNA Insider.
Law Studies – Offered to 11th and 12th-grade students. Law studies teach the fundamentals of government and the ethical basis of criminal, civil, and tort law.
History of Rock and Roll – Offered to students in 10th, 11th, and 12th grade. The History of Rock and Roll familiarizes students with the history of various styles of rock and roll music.
Psychology 1 – Offered to 11th and 12th-grade students. Psychology focuses on human growth and development, brain structure, and sub-fields of psychology.
Public Speaking/Poetry – Offered to 11th and 12th-grade students with an English teacher recommendation. The first half of the course focuses on developing public speaking skills, and the second focuses on poetry and poetic analysis.
Trade Education 1-3 – Offered to students at all grade levels and taken consecutively. Tech Exploration focuses on construction technology and the creation of industrial products.
Introduction to Business – This full-year business course introduces students to the world of business. This course covers an introduction to economics, cost and profit, and different business types.
