As 2025 begins, it’s extremely important to take some time to reflect on the past year, reset, and understand your goals for this new year.
To start take a breath and relax for a second. Let yourself relax and be calm. Then start a reset. Clean your space or spaces, do laundry, and clean out any unneeded clothes and items you might have been hoarding.
After everything’s clean make sure you treat yourself after your hard work. Go out for a snack, or take yourself on a date, even just a good luxurious shower can do the trick.
Next, make some time for an activity you cherish. Putting on a movie and vegging out on your bed or couch while eating popcorn is a very popular one. But journaling, scrapbooking, reading, and arts and crafts is another great way to relax.
Finally, make some goals for this year. Something manageable but challenging is what you’re aiming for. Something like a reading goal or being more active is a great goal to work towards.
However you choose to reset this year, remember these early months aren’t just for reinvention but rest and a time to reflect on the past year and what is to come this year ahead.
