Olivia Monska, Student Writer
My name is Olivia Monska and I am in my Senior year at GNA. I have gone to Nanticoke my entire life. This is my first year in Journalism and I can't wait to help foster people's ability to feel empowered by reading stories! I'm incredibly passionate about all things art and am even a part of GNA's very own Art Club, as well as a member of the school's Chorus and Key Club!
I'm a huge nerd when it comes to things like video games and comics. I'm passionate about indie games and niche communities surrounding obscure and "lost" media. My favorite TV show is Community on Netflix and my favorite bands are a toss-up between Muse and Måneskin!
I'm going to major in Fine Arts with a focus on illustration once I graduate high school. My plan is to eventually join a publishing agency. I hope to inspire a new generation of artists the same way cartoonists I read as a child influenced me to pursue art, in addition to moving somewhere in Europe after I've finished college.
