What inspired you to become a French teacher?
My studies in France and my French Teacher at King’s Mrs. Schwartz, who always taught with love and creativity. What I love the most about teaching is giving back what I have learned and seeing students find a passion in languages.
What is your biggest piece of advice for students?
Do not do things because your parents, advisors, or teachers tell you that you have to do it. Do it to challenge yourself, and make yourself want to do it. When you look back, in the future, you will be proud of your work and you will see that they always wanted what was best for you.
How long have you been teaching?
I had been a Spanish teacher for the Adult and Elderly Center in Wilkes-Barre, and an Adult ESL (English as a Second Language) teacher assistant at King’s College for about three years. Then in my fourth year, which was two years ago, I got offered a promotion to a teaching position. This has been my fifth year teaching.
