GNA CAMPUS – This holiday season the Greater Nanticoke Area Elementary Center is acting on the reason for the season and writing and personalizing holiday cards for our Veterans overseas.
At GNA, we were tasked to instruct our elementary center to design festive holiday scenes and write heartfelt and meaningful messages to our heroes. Afterward, these cards are shipped out to these veterans and spread the much-needed love and appreciation.
These cards are so vital in protecting and spreading motivation and appreciation to these Veterans. As they protect us, unfortunately, many of them are unable to see family over the holidays. Some are fighting mental battles with the understanding that seeing friends and family has not become an option. These cards serve as a much-needed reminder that what they’re doing is recognized and needed.
Students in elementary school have the ability and power to make a difference.
