My name is Bethany Saltz, and I’m a junior here at GNA. This is my second year in Journalism. I’m involved in softball, tennis, and chorus. I’m also a member of the Adventure Club and National Honor Society. I have attended GNA my whole life, and I’ll continue until I graduate. I usually read after class is over or talk to my friends if we’re allowed. I’m a fan of Maroon 5 and AJR; my favorite songs are Lucky Strike, Ice Cream, Yes, I’m A Mess, and Burn the House Down. I love to read, as I mentioned, and my favorite book series is “Warriors” by Erin Hunter. My favorite characters are Cinderheart, Squirrelstar, and Ivypool. I got back into “Sonic the Hedgehog” after the third movie came out, and I have some games such as Sonic Frontiers, Sonic Forces, Sonic X Shadow Generations, and Team Sonic Racing. My favorite characters are Shadow, Sonic, and Mephiles the Dark. I don’t have any pets, but my grandmother has a Shetland Sheepdog named Ripper whom I claim to be my son. I work hard in ELA because I want to be an author when I graduate. I’m searching for colleges online because I like working on my own. After I graduate from college, I’m going to stay in Pennsylvania so that I can be close to home. I want to get a few cats when I have enough money because I love cats.

Hi! My name is Annaleia Rose, but most people call me Annie. I’m a sophomore and I have attended GNA for almost my entire school career, excluding pre-school, where I attended Luzerne County Head Start. Currently, I’m not involved in any after-school activities, however, I hope to join the Key Club and the golf team.  When I’m not at school, I am most likely at home or the doctor’s office. I have severe scoliosis which causes me a lot of pain and limits what I can do. My hobbies have adjusted due to my condition. I love to listen to music. I love K-pop, 90s hip-hop, rap, and Taylor Swift. My favorite group is TWICE and I have been a ONCE since 2019. I collect K-pop CD albums, Breyer model horses, snacks, Sanrio merchandise, and tea. I love to watch K-dramas, YouTube videos, and films. I enjoy participating in debates online on websites such as YouTube and Twitter (I’m not calling it X.) I am proud to say I win the majority of the arguments I partake in. I have four pets, my cats Yubari and Greyson Everett from Accounting, my dog Belle, and my green cheeked conure Itel.  I work very hard in school because I have a personal goal to become a marine biologist. I also want to study orca whales in the wild and be an environmental lawyer to defend the environment from giant billionaires. I have many colleges reaching out to me, including two Ivy Leagues. However, I hope to attend CSUMB and get my dream job at the Monterey Bay Aquarium. I do not plan on staying in Pennsylvania, I plan on moving to California.
