What’s your reaction to Donald Trump winning the election?
“Surprised at first. I try to stay in the middle of the political spectrum when possible but it turns out my social media was left-bias. I’ve seen a lot more pro-Kamala stuff on my feeds which made me think she was going to win.”
Do you think Donald Trump should’ve won? If so/not why?
“Yes and no. I didn’t vote for Trump in the 2024 election because of my personal policy preferences and morals, but I wouldn’t change the results. As unfortunate as it is, I understand our election results are based on what the majority of U.S. citizens want and what plans they seem to find favorable to benefit them. If it was only up to me, I would have liked Kamala to win, but I understand I’m not the representative of the majority of Americans.”
Do you think that Kamala Harris should’ve won? If so/not why?
“In my prescriptive, yes. Trump’s tariffs plans are good in theory, but the transition to turning foreign labor into our own is going to be a painful process. The bare-bones idea of his plans is good, but the way he goes about them seems rushed and not thought through. I feel like overall Kamala’s tax plans are better as well with her policy being equitable vs equal.”
Do you have any plans to vote in the next election in 2028?
“Yes, I plan on voting in 2028.”
