GNA CAMPUS— After a long, rewarding, and difficult process— the GNA Drama Club finally put on their annual musical. This year, they performed their very own rendition of Willy Wonka & The Chocolate Factory, with an amazing and fun-loving cast, their show had over a thousand people show up and show out with support.
Willy Wonka & The Chocolate Factory is considered a classic amongst generations. No matter your age, you have seen —or heard of— at least one variation of the show. When putting on a production of such a classic and well-loved show, you are bound to have a crowd.
“Putting the show together was… difficult, to say the least,” a member said. “In the end, though, it always comes together, and that’s exactly what happened. We put on an amazing show, and even saw some familiar faces in the crowd!”
With new faces taking the stage this year, it’s been an amazing experience to discover what other talents truly lie here at GNA. From 5th grade to 12th, the talent pool is growing by the minute.
Overall, the show went phenomenally. Set design, props, costumes, and of course, the acting and singing could not have gone any better. It was an experience that the GNA Drama Club cannot wait to do again next year.
