The American alternative rock band Stone Temple Pilots San Diego, California, in 1989. Scott Weiland, brothers Dean and Robert DeLeo, and Eric Kretz were the original members. Some of their well-known songs are “Interstate Love Song,” “Creep,” and “Plush.” The band broke up in 2003 and then reformed in 2008. In 2013, they worked with the lead singer of Linkin Park, Chester Bennington, to make their song “Out Of Time.”
Godsmack is another good rock band formed by Sully Erna, Robbie Merrill, Tony Rombola, and Shannon Larkin in Lawrence, Massachusetts, in 1995. Some of their most popular songs include “I Stand Alone,” “Bulletproof,” “Awake,” and “When Legends Rise.” The band still tours today and plans to do so sometime this year.
Sabaton, which has been the face of power metal for nearly two decades, was formed in 1999, in Sweden. In 2012 most of the members left the group but that hasn’t stopped them from touring. They will begin performing shortly with Judas Priest in April & May this year. They are known for their songs “The Attack Of The Dead Man,” “The Last Stand,” and “Great War.”
