Places to take your loved one on Valentine’s Day

Valentine’s Day. The day that you and your partner go out and enjoy the world together. No matter what you have planned, these are just a couple of beautiful places to take your sweetheart.

The first place to go is Baskin Robbins. Start the day with desserts like Love Potion #31 and their Crazy For You Cake. This is a heart-shaped cake with chocolate drips, oreo cookies, fudge, and buttercream roses.

Cracker Barrel – just for coming in on Valentine’s Day you can get a free dessert with the purchase of two entrees.

Outback Steakhouse – you can get a four-course meal for two.

Joe’s Pizza – you can purchase a heart-shaped pizza with the topping(s) of your choice.

Ruth’s Chris Steakhouse – they are offering the tenderloin for two.

Chick-fil-A – get a heart-shaped tray filled with 30 chicken nuggets, 10 chick n minis, 12 chocolate fudge brownies, or 6 chocolate chunk cookies.

Dairy Queen – stop for some more ice cream with the triple truffle blizzard.

Krispy Kreme – a new Hershey’s Strawberry Dream and Hershey’s Chocolate Chip Caramel Kreme.

Our last place to go is Starbucks – try the pink drink with chocolate cream cold foam.

My name is Amanda Schneider, and I am a senior at Greater Nanticoke Area. This is my first time writing for The GNA Insider. I have lived in Nanticoke since the 5th grade. My favorite subject in school would be history, as I have taken honors history for all four years of high school. I have also volunteered at my church and near by places; such as working a petting zoo, running the plays, giving away shopping carts full of Thanksgiving food, and even dressing up as a Christmas tree to give children candy. In my spare time, I am working at a restaurant as a host. When I’m not working, I enjoy hanging out with my friends and family. I also love to travel and take pictures of new and exciting places. My favorite place to be is wherever the sun is. After High School, I plan on going to college for real estate as well as business and marketing. I am very excited to better myself and make my goals come true.
