As the cold and icy weather progresses, everyone is wondering what to do. The only solution is to be cuddled up with all your blankets and snacks. Now that we’re settled, here are some movies to put on this winter.
Our first movie is Home Alone, a classic comedy/thriller to watch no matter the season. This movie is about an 8-year-old boy who has gotten into trouble the night before going to Paris with his whole family. After they had left without him, he had to protect the house from two con men who like to start trouble.
The second movie is Groundhog Day, a comedy/melodrama. This movie is about a TV weatherman who relives the same day over and over. As this takes place on Groundhog Day, the weatherman goes to film and gets distracted, finally getting the upper hand on his situation.
Our third movie is another classic, Little Women, a romance/comedy and a coming-of-age movie. This is about four sisters living together, despite doing different things in life. When out, one of the sisters named Amy encounters her childhood crush, he had proposed to her other sister, Jo. With everything happening their other sister, Beth, has a horrible illness that brings the family back together.
The fourth movie is My Rainy Days, a drama and crime fiction movie. This movie is about a 17-year-old girl who was always the center of attention due to her beauty. She had a traumatic past and didn’t care about anyone else, including her friends; which she only used for personal gain.
Then, our final movie is I, Tonya, a documentary, tragic comedy, and a thriller movie all in one. This movie is about a very talented ice skater, who was the first ever woman to complete a triple axel during a competition. As Tonya’s fame rises, her ex-husband injures a fellow Olympic skater to compromise his ex. After the attack she had dropped out of the competition, leaving Tonya’s life and legacy destroyed.
Grab some popcorn, some snacks, and some fuzzy blankets because these movies are a definite must-watch.
