On December 30th, the owners of R Bar decided that the place needed a fresh new look, so renovation began within the Kirmar Ave restaurant in Nanticoke.
R Bar is a popular establishment with a variety of over 80 wing flavors, friendly service, and a unique design. Recently, R Bar decided to go through with some design changes to the bar area, receiving “love and support from the R Bar staff,” said Lauren Maga and Lindsay Temarantz owners of the restaurant.
“The staff worked their butts off daily from 10 am to 10 pm to get the project completed. It was very stressful, but it looks much better.”
The restaurant has been in the business for years. They went from a little corner restaurant with very little food on the menu, to a big space with a wide variety of food choices and over 80 wing flavors.
R Bar first opened on February 3, 2011. Lauren said the business started on West Union Street in Nanticoke with “8 tables and a small bar with very few things on the menu.”
Three years later, on November 7, 2014, R Bar moved to the old Alden Manor Complex on Kirmar Avenue in Newport Township. The current location has 29 tables, lots of bar seating, and a huge banquet hall with 150 people maximum. The customers range from adults to kids of all ages.
The restaurant would like to thank all of their wonderful customers who have gotten them to where they are right now.
