With the holiday season already flying by, here are some places to bring the holiday spirit to you and your family.
1.) Berwick Christmas Boulevard, in Berwick, PA. Open 6-10 pm all month long. They’ve been doing this for 70 years. After seeing the lights and new statues, meet Santa and get goodies for everyone. This experience is 100% free, but donations are accepted.
2.) Festival of Lights, in Tunkhannock, PA. It opens at 6 pm and stays open all month long (except for Christmas Eve.) Celebrate in the drive-through light show. Get food, build your own smores, try the freshly spun cotton candy, and lastly, capture your favorite memories inside the huge dazzling present alongside the Christmas tree outside. Sun-Thur $30 and Fri-Sat $35 per vehicle.
3.) Carbondale Christmas Light Drive-Through, in Carbondale, PA. Opens at 6 pm and stays open until the beginning of January. Meet Santa and get treats from the Sweet Shack for $15.
4.) Knoebels Joy Through The Grove, in Elysburg, PA. Open 5:30-9 pm all month long (except for Christmas Eve & day.) Drive through 2 miles of sparkling lights and get delicious food. Mon-Thur $20 for a small car (8 or fewer people) and $40 for a large car (9-12 people.) Fri-Sun $25 for a small car and $40 for a large car.
5.) Light The Night At Sugarloaf, in Sugarloaf, PA. Open 5 pm Thur-Sun. Walk through the many themed areas and then grab winter-themed food and drinks. Participate in your favorite activities like snowball fights, fire pits, and smores. You can even write letters to Santa and take pictures. Adults $14, Children (2-14) $10, Children (2- younger) free.
