“I have been employed by Guardian for over ten years now. I started in 2012 as an aide, then I became the Director’s Assistant, and now I am happily with the Administration team as the Director myself. It took a lot of hard work, dedication, learning, growth, and compassion to be able to do what I am capable of doing today. I facilitate events within the community, as well as daily activities in-house so my residents are able to feel a sense of normalcy and belonging, in hopes of improving their quality of life and giving them a purpose! Just being able to put a smile on someone’s face is as good of a success that anyone can ask for. I love my job!
(I think you should) look into occupations that you may not even know are available instead of your “typical” occupations. Do what you’re passionate about and something that drives you! (Not that anything is wrong with the typical occupations) but be your own person, do what you love – like as for myself for instance, my job is so gratifying, knowing I have changed a life in the smallest way one way or another brings such peace to my life, and that drives to me to encourage others to do the same! “Always be humble and kind!” I’d like to tell today’s youth to be a leader and not a follower. To be compassionate and really put your heart and soul into not only yourself, but to those around you. To volunteer and bring life to those around you!” missing quotes
